Gas mixtures

A set of multi-component products that have been developed for specific applications such as welding or for the food industry. Gas mixtures are a wide and diverse group of products that have been developed for use in specific industries. Food gas mixtures are used to delay the spoilage of packaged food by replacing the air inside the package with a protective gas mixture.

Mixtures of different gases are used to improve the properties of many beverages, from wine to beer and soft drinks. It is used in the production of a wide range of gas mixtures for welding and cutting, as well as for laser processing. Gas mixtures are either continuously blended on site from pure gases or can be supplied as pre-mixed products in a range of package sizes.

Calibration gas / test gas

The calibration gas is a reference gas or a mixture of gases that are usually compressed. The composition of the calibration gas consists of an initial gas and is augmented with one or more components. Calibration gas is used to calibrate gas analyzers or gas detectors. All SEMA calibration gas cylinders (flammable, toxic, oxygen and mixed gas) are traceable to international standards.

Arkan Gas Company specializes in the production of high quality calibration gases and the supply of high purity gases and related equipment. This company provides customers with the ability to produce complex gas mixtures and several parts with the highest level of production accuracy with modern weight production methods.

This company provides refillable and disposable calibration gas according to the customer’s order and ready for delivery all over the country. The calibration gas consists of different gases that do not chemically conflict with each other. The characteristics of these gases are known precisely and are used for the calibration of chemical analysis devices or production devices and equipment. All gas components, including base and impurities, must be accurately specified by mentioning the exact amount of each one (based on PPM or PPB and percentage).

Uses: These gases are mainly used as detectors of various gases, the most important of which are listed below:

Carbon monoxide CO base calibration gas mixture
Chlorine base calibration gas mixture Cl
Carbonyl sulfide base calibration gas mixture
